Noah Cornell is entering his fourth season on staff at Deer Creek High School, where he currently serves as the Tight Ends Coach. He has also worked with the Offensive Line during his time with the Antlers. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Cornell is a full-time teacher at Deer Creek.
Before joining the staff at Deer Creek, Cornell served as the Tight Ends Coach and Pass Game Coordinator at Oklahoma Christian Academy (2021–2022), helping lead the team to its first playoff appearance since 2016 and its best season in nearly a decade. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Coach at Moore High School (2018–2021), where he coached Tight Ends and contributed as an Offensive Assistant. During his tenure, the Lions defeated their crosstown rival for the first time in 20 years. Simultaneously, Cornell served as Offensive Coordinator at Highland East Junior High (2018–2020), coaching Wide Receivers and Tight Ends.
In 2020–2021, Cornell served as a Coaching Intern at the University of Central Oklahoma. There, he assisted with offensive analysis, helping design visual playbook materials and presentations to enhance student-athlete learning.
Cornell began his football career at Southmoore High School, earning a scholarship to play at Southern Nazarene University. He later transferred to the University of Oklahoma, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Sport Performance. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Sports Administration.
Throughout his coaching career, Cornell has developed and mentored numerous student-athletes who have gone on to compete at all levels of collegiate football.
A native of Oklahoma City, Cornell and his wife Elizabeth live and work in the metro area. His father served in the military, his mother is a teacher, and his younger brother currently plays football at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK.
